Catnapper Omni Power Lift Recliner Reviews
On Amazon, the Omni received 3 out of 5 stars from 16 reviewers. Here are what they said as well as what some other reviewers on other websites said:
- Patty rated the chair 5 out of 5 stars. She titled her review “perfect for back patients.” She has had a few back surgeries and owned several different chairs. She tried the Omni and found it comfortable to sleep in. She is only 5’3″ which is smaller than what the Omni was designed for but enjoys the space.
- Rob rated the chair 5/5 and titled his review “Great Quality! Great Price!” He found that the chair was much cheaper online than in store. He enjoys his purchase.
- John rated the chair 5/5 stars. He found them comfortable and a good investment.
- Another user rated the chair 3/5 stars. He titled his review “I loved the chair at first, it slept great.” After enjoying the chair for 6 months, it started breaking. He found out that Catnapper’s warranty is very limited, as we’ll cover below.
Omni Lift Chair Warranty
The Catnapper warranty is only good when Catnapper has spare parts available for the model. If the company runs out of parts, the warranty is no longer valid. This means that the warranty is not as good as it sounds as one does not know when Catnapper will run out of spare parts or discontinue a line.
For most components of the lift chair, it is covered by Catnapper’s 1 year warranty. This warranty only covers non-commercial, regular usage with proper maintenance. The warranty does not cover fabrics. Other parts have a longer warranty. Click here to read the full details.
Medicare DME requirements
Catnapper lift chairs are not medical equipment and do not meet Medicare’s requirements for a Durable Medical Equipment. Therefore it will not qualify for the $250 to $300 Medicare reimbursement check.
The Omni costs between $1,100 and $1,200.
This extra-large lift chair is for individuals who find other lift chairs too small. It is best for individuals who are not on Medicare and do not plan to apply for Medicare reimbursement. The chair, in itself, is comfortable but, if you have issues with it, the warranty is almost good for nothing, as many reviewers have found out. Buy with care. Buy on Amazon.
