Three position lift chairs can go into the sitting, 15° recline, and 45° recline position. The back and ottoman does not move independently.
Infinite position lift chairs can go recline into any position, even 90°. If an infinite position lift chair offers a Zero-gravity position, it means that the sitter's body is positioned in a way that reduces stress on the joints.
